For over fifteen years, Owner Nathan Greenleaf has built a solid reputation as Maine's' most trusted commercial kitchen equipment repair technician, and is committed to providing the highest quality service to the community. In 2009 Nate temporarily closed the now reopened and "never to close again" doors of TGITM, and focused on the world of solar thermal technologies. He went on to develop and manage a company that manufactured a top brand of solar water heating panels, which resulted in a whole new career in the technical support and training field.
Nate became the course author and instructor for the Efficiency Maine Solar Thermal Installer Certification program and has been the adjunct professor at Kennebec Valley Community College. His involvement with the program was a key to the school's award of a grant from the United States combined Departments of Energy, Education, and Labor to be a regional training facility for solar thermal technologies. In addition to this, Nate has authored a full course program and workbook for the International Solar Thermal Institute that has been employed by schools across the country.
From 2008 to 2010 Nate had traveled extensively all over North America providing training and technical support to thousands of professional mechanical installers, but a calling of family and friends brought him back home to the career he prefers. Helping local businesses become and grow successful by aiding them financially on the back end with their equipment repairs.
Nate believes that a reputation as an honest and reliable service technician is the recipe for success. While others seek to profit by cutting corners, or recommending unnecessary services to customers, the Ghost has always believed that a good reputation and consistent service will reap bigger rewards in the long run. By being trustworthy, the Ghost believes that it will enjoy a long term profitable business that serves our local community.
Nate grew up in central and mid-coast Maine, graduated from Camden-Rockport High School, and is a graduate of Eastern Maine Technical College. He lives in a nice little bungalow in Rockland, is completely in love with his "girls" (Nay, Rap, and BP,) and can sometimes be seen with his crazy family dogs Panda and Tinkahonktiss on the hill behind the house. Someday, you may even see him in a restored 1973 Jeep CJ-6, if he ever can get around to fixing it up.
Cheers!
